LFF / Local Fibre Fund
Translumina provides innovative multi-media services and operates nation-wide broadband backbone networks for carrying these services into the different regions. Locally, the subscribers are connected by fibre access networks (FAN).
In some cases, such fibre access network is already available, and Translumina uses this network. However, where such a network is missing, Translumina is ready to finance the implementation of a FAN. For this purpose, Translumina has specifically incorporated the Local Fibre Fund (LFF).
The LLF is based in Malta and operates accoring to the European laws, but benefits from the very attractive tax advantages offered by Malta.
The Local Fibre Fund (LFF) provides funding for the implementation of Fibre Access Networks (FAN). These networks are made available to Translumina or any other provider for offering multi-media services, and Translumina or any other provider pays a related service fee to the LFF. In addition, the local fibre networks financed by the LFF are pledged as a security to the LFF; this protects the investments made into the LFF. Since fibre access networks form a key infrastructure element of our modern society with guaranted cashflows over long livetime period of at least 20 to 30 years, they represent a high security for the related investors.
Interested persons shall contact Mr. Martin Hochschorner, who is responsible for these funding projects.
