Hotel Allegra decides in favor of the Triple Play solution provided by Translumina

An essential part of perfect hotel services are well functioning communications and multimedia services for the guests. In order to guarantee best quality of services, the hotel management of Allegra relies on the Triple Play solution of Translumina: high-speed Internet, qualitatively high IP telephony (VoIP), modern television (IP-TV) and radio from one single provider.

In a first step, all hotel rooms have been equipped with broadband internet access with a maximum transmission rate of 100 Mbit/s. An extensive and easily usable internet access attracts more guests, hence leads to a better room utilization and to a broader spread of the hotel brand.

The triple play expansion proceeds in various stages. Nowadays, easily usable WLAN accesses are an integral part of services in all hotel areas, especially in meeting rooms. For this reason, wireless internet access will also be made available by the end of August. More and more often, not only business men but also tourists want to be connected to „the net“ – everywhere and any time.

After the WLAN integration follows the implementation of the innovative VOIP solution for hotels conceived by Alcatel and last but not least the realization of modern IP TV services with integrated online video shop (VoD).
