Translumina provides technical solutions to equip villages and residential building campusses with multi-media networks. Translumina also provides the related Internet, telephony and TV services (see Private Customers). • Fiber to the Building (FTTB), Fiber to the Home (FTTH): Translumina connects the buildings and the homes of communities with fibre access networks (FAN). Translumina has optimized the related architectures resulting in cost effective and economical solutions.
• Inhouse Network: Translumina supplies inhouse network technology to effectively connect the different appartements and rooms of a residential building.
• Public WLAN: Translumina provides public WLAN technology with full coverage for your community. Wherever you are, on the balcony for instance, you will be able to connect with your laptop, PDA or SmartPhone to the Internet also enjoying telephony at VoIP prices. Public WLAN access represents also an attractive low price option for people, who only occasionally utilize the Internet.
• Triple Play Services: Translumina provides all triple play services, like Internet access, telephony, TV and video on demand (see Private Customers).
• Security: Translumina provides the technology solution required to connect security cameras to the community network and to stream the related images to any monitor, TV or computer device. Surveillance of garages and public places like school facilities or bus stations is economically and easy available when working with Translumina.
• Information Portal: Translumina provides dedicated information portals for communities. Using these portals, it is possible at your fingertips to push and collect information to all or selected members of the community, wheras this information may be seen on the PC, laptop, PDA and Smartphone or even the TV.
• Community Channel: Translumina provides the technology solution and the services required to create an own TV channel for the community. This channel may inform every week about the latest news regarding the village and introduce people who just moved in ? when choosing Translumina, this is possible without huge investments.
• Remote Metering: Translumina opens its network for communities to enable cost-effective remote metering of energy usage.
